Commencement 2024
The application deadline for those planning to graduate in May was Friday, Feb. 9. If you have not yet applied, complete an application and contact your evaluator immediately to ensure you are on record and that your name will appear in the official Commencement program (if eligible).
The application is available through Self-Service by clicking on Student Main Menu, Student Academic Records, and Graduation Application. Please be sure to complete the Supplemental Questionnaire to complete the process.
Online ordering of cap and gown is now taking place and will continue through March 26.
Information for Graduates
Our annual May Commencement exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 12, at the XL Center in downtown Hartford. It will celebrate the academic achievements of all who were awarded degrees during the 2023–24 academic year (Sept. 2023, Jan. 2024, May 2024). The Graduate Ceremony (doctoral and master's degrees) will be held at 9 a.m. with the Undergraduate Ceremony (bachelor's and associate degrees) taking place at 2 p.m.
Before you can walk across the stage, you need to make sure you've completed all the necessary steps for graduation.
